St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - The St. Thomas Yacht Club in the U.S.Virgin Islands announces that the 25th Annual International Rolex Cup Regatta will be held on April 10, 11 and 12, 1998, over the Easter holiday weekend.

Sponsored by Rolex of Geneva, the sailing regatta will be hosted by the St. Thomas Yacht Club, also the home of the U.S. Virgin Islands America's CupChallenge.

Rolex Cup Regatta Director Raoul Mills notes that the "Silver Anniversary" will mark the introduction of different courses for two fleets, with an open ocean race course and a longer windward leg designed specifically for larger boats.

John Bonds, formerly of the U.S. Sailing Association, will be Senior Race Officer. Well-known yachtsman, Arthur  ``Tuna" Wullschleger, will be Chief Judge of the International Jury.

The International Rolex Cup Regatta is the final race of the Caribbean Ocean Racing Triangle (CORT) Series; Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands host the other two legs on the preceding weekends.
